Presidential Fellowship FAQ’s
- $32,000 Annual Premium Stipend
- Full Tuition Coverage
- Health Insurance Benefits
- $3,500/year for travel, research, or publications
- Renewable for up to 3 years (based on performance)
Presidential Fellows are expected to:
- Publish as first author in a Q1/Q2 journal annually (starting year 2).
- Co-author an external research grant in year 2.
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher.
- Engage in university outreach and represent GS as a research ambassador.
Nominations must be submitted through the InfoReady portal. The Nomination must come from the faculty advisor (no self nominations). The process includes:
- Personal statement (2 pages max)
- Academic transcripts
- Research achievements (resume/CV style)
- Faculty nomination letter
